"The Big News" IndyCar partners with BP Motorsports Group

Ok someone pinch me....  Did I really just see "The Heartland Sprint Series" included in an official press release from IndyCar?  Yes, I did!!!!   Holy Cow we're actually working with IndyCar and our Tag Senior Champion will participate in "The IndyCar Combine" at the end of the season.  You can find the complete story on IndyCar.com at:  IndyCar Combine

Back when this first started, Brit Phillips, our Director of Operations wanted to grow karting here in the Heartland and give kids the opportunity to race.  He said, "I never thought when we started this that we'd have the chance to work with IndyCar and we're honored to be part of their grass roots effort to promote the IZOD IndyCar Series via The Mazda Road to Indy.  To actually think that this years Tag Senior Champion from The Heartland Sprint Series could work their way up to the IZOD IndyCar Series via their new ladder system is tremendously exciting."

Well you heard it directly from IndyCar folks.  Get those karts ready, the first race is just a month away and this year our Tag Senior Champion will get a shot at proving themselves in the IndyCar Combine event in Florida against the best of the best in karting from around the country.  It's the "Top Gun" of karting this year!

All of us at BP Motorsports Group are honored to be working with the IZOD IndyCar series and while we've known about this for sometime we were sworn to secrecy.  The 2011 Kansas City Auto show was the kickoff to our partnership with IndyCar and here is a photo of the event.  It's estimated that over 300,000 people attended the 2011 Kansas City Auto Show and BP Motorsports Group & CarCar Motorsports were there with IndyCar!!!

This is really big news but we still have more to come so keep your eyes on our website and EKN because there is more to come!!!

The Ladder Starts Early

Hey Randy if I can reach the pedals in time for your final IZOD IndyCar race at Las Vegas count me in for the 5 Million Dollar Bonus Challenge!!!  I race go karts now with BP Motorsports Group in Kansas City as part of "The Heartland Sprint Series" . But I'd love to race with Dario, Will, Danica, Helio, and Marco!

The IZOD IndyCar Series partners with BP Motorsports Group at the Greater Kansas International Auto Show to help promote "The Mazda Road to Indy" and the grass roots of racing, which starts with Karting.  It looks like one young racer is taking IZOD IndyCar CEO Randy Bernard seriously on his 5 Million Dollar Bonus offer.  Randy said if any driver, outside the IZOD IndyCar Series, can win the final race of the season against the best drivers in the world it will pay a 5 Million Dollar Bonus!  There are only 5 spots open to other drives.  Well, 4 if Tyler gets his way.... See the article on Indycar.com. Click here:  IZOD IndyCar Challenge

Seriously Randy, if I can reach the pedals on this thing in October you can just start cutting the check now!  Hey Marco, You'll have to find a new number buddy, here I come!
