Some questions about tires have come up and Brit wanted to make certain that we clarified some of the questions. In light of the problems we have had with drivers running the wrong tires at the Mazda Heartland Sprint Series and since so many of them are also KCKA drivers I wanted to take a minute and post this here in hopes of saving someone the grief of getting DQ'ed. Here are the legal tires which are also posted on our web site-
๏Maxxis HG3 (Eligible to win Free set of Maxxis Tires)
๏MG FZ Yellow
๏Dunlop DDM (Eligible to win Free set of Dunlop Tires)
๏Mojo D2 (Rotax only)
๏Bridgestone YKB/YLB (Eligible to win Free set of Bridgestone Tires)
๏Bridgestone YKC/YLC (Yamaha only) (Eligible to win Free set of Bridgestone Tires)
You must run the compound listed next to the tire and all 4 tires must be the same brand and compound. Just because the brand on the side of the tire is right doesn't mean the compound is right. You must check the compound to make sure it matches what is on the list. I hope this helps clear this matter up. Thanks.
